|  | | | | Laura Faeo has been an artist all her life, or at least as long as she has known how to hold a pencil. She moved to Alaska in 1976 from Pennsylvania, and lived in Anchorage until 1990 when she moved to the Kenai Peninsula. She attended art courses at UAA and the Kenai Peninsula College for many years as a "perpetual student." She has served on the Board of Directors and as Gallery Coordinator fro the Peninsula Art Guild, and as Studio Coordinator and Vice President of the Kenai Potters Guild. Her artwork encompasses many different media: watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, pottery, clay sculpture and metal sculpture. Her work has been exhibited at the Kenai Fine Arts Center, Artworks, Frames n Things, and the Kenai Visitors Center, and her pottery is for sale at various locations in the Kenai and Soldotna. She currently lives in Nikiski Alaska with two dogs, seven parakeets, and an assortment of plants.
